About
A Minnesota native, Nicole DeRuyck attended the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks and received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Visual Arts.
She was an apprentice for the Metalsmith and Designer David Badman of Badman Design specializing in custom artworks.
She has a broad range of knowledge, skills, and mediums. Nicole's expertise is in realistic pastel pencil portraits, but also loves to create abstract art.
Nicole is inspired by the works of Edward Hopper, Jackson Pollock, Edgar Degas, and Mary Cassatt.
When she isn't busy creating, she is an avid baseball fan of the Minnesota Twins. Nicole currently works and resides in the Twin Cities metro area.
Information & Policies
Artwork
I create many paintings and release them on my website several times a year. Information on new artworks will be advertised via social media and mailing list. Originals will be available here on my website.
Commissions
I love creating commissions. Limited spots are available, commission reservations can be placed by contacting by email or contact info tab.
Framing
I encourage framing all your prints and original paintings. Not only do they look beautiful framed, but it will help to protect the artwork from wear and dust. I do not currently offer framing from my studio, but I recommend seeking out a local frame shop. DON’T FORGET THE MAT. Matting your original art or print helps protect and add appeal.
Shipping
I prioritize handling and packaging each order carefully, using quality packaging materials to keep the artwork safe during transit. Therefore, I am not liable for failed delivery, incorrect addresses, or mishandling by the shipping service.
After purchasing artwork, you will receive a confirmation email. Please check that the address given is correct. Any purchased artwork returned to me due to an incorrect address; I will happily resend after the additional shipping cost is invoiced to you and paid.
If the address is correct and you are concerned that the package has been lost or stolen, please contact the shipping service directly using the tracking number sent in the shipping notification email. If you would like to purchase additional shipping insurance, please let me know.
Please take in consideration that there are many shipping delays these days. Please be prepared for inconveniences.
If you are shopping outside of the U.S, shipping can be arranged.
Currently, shipping to the U.K. is on hold.
Returns
Every order, commission, and sale is handled with care and as much clarity and transparency as possible. My goal is for you to be elated with your purchase! Because of this, all SALES ARE FINAL except in certain situations.
